ROYAL NEW ZEALAND BALLET
Kids from all over the country can give ballet a whirl, thanks to Royal New Zealand Ballet's education and community programmes. Made possible by The Lion Foundation, the programmes are designed to bring major productions such as Red, Romeo & Juliet and Don Quixote to children in remote areas. This year alone, the Royal New Zealand Ballet has travelled as far north as Kerikeri, as far south as Stewart Island and to several towns in between delivering school matinees, creative dance workshops, mentor programmes and behind-the-scenes tours.
